donuts

this piece is 3 feet by 4 1/2 feet on a panel i built.

up close, the wood grain is visible and so are the nails that hold it together.

my non-dominant left hand rendered the ink pieces, and the donuts are done with my dominant right hand in colored pencil.

My work, along with the work of several other talented local artists, will be up through the end of January. There will be a second opening reception with food, drinks, etc. on January 20th, which is also an Inauguration party.
